The Sound of Winter

“The Sound of Winter,” by the British band, Bush, was a single released on 22 Jul 2011 from the groups fifth album, The Sea of Memories and reached number 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Music chart (but only number 37 on the Billboard Adult Top 40).

Despite widespread commercial and critical success, some people consider the band a “poor man’s Nirvana” based on Gavin Rossdale’s raspy singing style and stream-of-consciousness lyrical approach.

Be that at as it may, there’s no denying the power of such songs as, Glycerine, Everything Zen and Machinehead. Check them out and turn up the volume.
